First of all, I must start by saying that this is not a review, simply because I did not follow the instructions on the Manic Panic jar which recommends to use on pre-lightened hair, natural blond, or chemically treated hair. To be honest with you all, I was hoping that the hair strands that were lighter would get a more blueish color, but instead of that, it completely covered the previous color.finger coil on natural hair

I used it all over my hair just because I wanted to see how my grey hairs reacted to it. The result were ok; the grey hair didn’t get much color, just a slight blue hue. I didn’t like that my hair got really dark with a hue of blue, but I must say that my hair looks really healthy and my curls are defined and shiny. I am not panicking about my dark hair color simply because Manic Panic is semi-permanent dye, so I will rock the color because the color will go away with a few washes.

About Manic Panic: made from vegan ingredients and has the added benefit of conditioning the hair. It’s PPD free, ammonia-free, and peroxide-free.

If you are considering trying Manic Panic, here are some recommendations to not make the same mistakes I did:mani panic hair color on natural hair

  • Do a preliminary strand test to be certain that it is the color you like.
  • Wear gloves and long sleeves lol, this color is really pigmented, but I was able to remove it with alcohol.
  • Protect your work area with plastic, the mess can be pretty serious.
  • Do not rinse out the color in your bathtub.
  • The cream formula makes it very easy to apply with your hands.color de cabello azul natural hair care

Has tratado Manic Panic?
