Runway Heat Damage Free Curls

This picture was very popular when I posted it pretty much everywhere, some were complementing my smile which by the way is thanks to Invisalign  , others my blouse -At H&M NYC- and most of you my beautiful runway heat damage free curls.  I had my hair done at a beautiful event hosted by TREsseme and hair stylist Marco Peña that I love so much, because he treats me as one of his famous celebrity clients.

I was surprised when Marcos got a curling iron and started to curl some pieces of my hair, I was surprised mainly because I had never curled my hair while in it’s natural stage “curly and dry” which means that he did not blow dry my hair, instead he just gave a little more loose shape to them. 

Get the Look, By Marcos Peña: I recommend you wash and condition your hair with  your favorite line, remember curly hair needs more moisture than any other type of hair. Apply  Thermal Creations mousse by Tresemme to wet hair and allow to dry naturally.
To define curls, use a 3/4 curling iron, take small sections of hair, drizzle them with Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray by Tresemme to protect hair from the heat of the curling iron, roll for a few seconds and release without disrupting the curl pattern, do it throughout the hair.
Finally, carefully open each curl with your fingers and organize according to how you want your hair.
To add an extra glossy finish, rub a little bit of serum or hair oil to the tips of your finger and distribute to your ends to avoid frizz. The same technique was used on TeenAndCurl’s  hair
