Ovation Cell Therapy products review / Reseña de los productos Ovation

I have been intrigued about Ovation Cell therapy for a long time, specially after Felicia leatherwood said in a workshop, that this actually works. But before we jump into conclusions or what I think about them, lets take a look at their claims.

Ovation Moisture system products are designed to work together to provide you with the best results. The Moisture System consists of three products to cleanse, treat, and moisturize your hair (these are the products I used) :

•  Ovation Moisture Therapy Shampoo, safe for everyday use.
• Ovation Cell Therapy Hair Treatment that can be used in two different ways. Depending upon your personal preference, hair care needs, and lifestyle, they recommend that first time users, try the Leave-in Therapy Treatment application to experience the full benefits of Ovation Cell Therapy Hair Treatment.    1.-Routine Therapy Treatment: Use 2-3 times per week. Prepare hair by washing with an Ovation Shampoo. Massage Ovation Cell Therapy into scalp and comb through. Leave on for 3-5 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Follow with an Ovation Crème Rinse. Towel dry and style as desired. 2.-Leave-In Therapy Treatment: Massage Ovation Cell Therapy directly into scalp. Leave on for 1-2 hours or overnight. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with an Ovation Crème Rinse as needed. Towel dry and style as desired.
• Ovation Moisturizing Crème Rinse, to follow after  Ovation Moisture Therapy Shampoo or Ovation Cell Therapy Hair Treatment. Gently massage through hair starting close to the scalp and continuing to the ends. Rinse thoroughly, towel dry and style. learn more here

I have been using these three products for a few weeks now, along with my deep treatment conditioner and styling products, and I am not going to tell you that these product made my hair grow over night, I wish I could tell you that, but I hope that by now you know and understand that this is not going to happen with Ovation or any other product (s) no matter what they say on commercials to make you buy it. I do believe what so ever that these products along with a healthy hair regimen, consistency and time, you will have longer hair and most importantly, healthier and stronger.

Here is what I noticed:

These products are very powerful, I could feel a difference in my hair that I can’t describe, it was like my hair was stronger at first use. This has been said, after a few uses, the feeling was more noticeable to the point that it was a little hard to detangle. I believe that these products are intended for damaged hair, and since my hair is not damaged, too much protein gave a weird reaction/ overdose.  I will continue using the products, but only once a month. An over night treatment I only recommend if your hair is really damaged due to a lot of chemical process and heat, this treatment will do wonders on your hair. If you are transitioning to natural hair and you want to wait at least a year to cut your hair , these products will help you tremendously in your journey.

The products did not help me in the detangling process at all, but any protein treatment is not good to detangle my hair anyway.  I recommend that you wash your hair, detangle, and then continue with the therapy to maximize the products and the results.

I did notice less hair in my shower while detangling by the second time I used Ovation, I was surprised and happy to see that.

Tengo ya un tiempo intrigada por los productos Ovation , especialmente después de que Felicia leatherwood dijo en un taller que estos realmente si funcionaban. Pero antes de decirles mi opinion, vamos a echar un vistazo a lo que la compañía proclama que hacen estos productos, que les parece?

Ovation Cell Therapy Hair Treatment se puede utilizar de dos maneras diferentes, dependiendo de tus preferencias personales, las necesidades de cuidado de tu cabello , y estilo de vida, aunque recomiendan que para usuarios nuevos lo traten como tratamiento profundo 1. – Rutina Tratamiento: Usar 2-3 veces por semana . Preparar el cabello mediante lavado con el champú Ovation, luego usar el Ovation Cell Therapy en el cuero cabelludo y peinar . Dejar actuar durante 3-5 minutos y enjuagar bien, sigue con Ovation Crème Rinse. Peina como de costumbre. 2. – Tratamiento profundo, para esto recomiendan el dejar en el cabello por 1-2 horas o toda la noche . Enjuaga bien . Siga con Ovation Crème Rinse. Peina como de costumbre.
Ovation Moisturizing Crème Rinse, para usar después de Ovation Moisture Therapy Shampoo o Ovation Cell Therapy Hair Treatment. Masajear suavemente sobre el cabello comenzando cerca del cuero cabelludo y continuando hasta las puntas. He estado usando estos tres productos por un par de semanas, juntos a mi acondicionador tratamiento profundo y productos de estilo,  y yo no les voy a decir que estos productos hicieron que mi cabello creciera de la noche a la mañana, me gustaría poder decir eso, pero yo espero que a estas alturas, ustedes ya entiendan que esto no va a pasar ni con Ovation ni con ningún otro producto(s) no importa lo que digan los comerciales para que lo compres. Mas sin embargo, si pienso que estos productos junto a un regimen saludable, constancia y tiempo puedes lograr un cabello largo y sobre todo, fuerte y saludable.

Aquí algunos puntos claves de mi opinion:

Estos productos son muy poderosos, podía sentir la diferencia en mi cabello desde la primera vez, fue como que mi cabello se sentía mas fuerte. Este cambio o fortaleza de mi cabello lo sentí mas fuerte luego de varios usos hasta un punto que se sentía duro y hasta difícil de desenredar . Pienso que estos productos son recomendados para cabello dañado ya que contienen mucha proteína lo que ocasiono una sobredosis en mi cabello que esta sano. Voy a seguir utilizando los productos, pero solamente una vez al mes . Y un tratamiento durante la noche sólo lo recomiendo si tu cabello esta muy maltratado. Si tu cabello esta muy dañado, este tratamiento hará maravillas en ti, al igual que si estas en la transición.

Los productos no me ayudaron en el proceso de desenredado en absoluto, pero en si, ningún tratamiento de proteínas nunca me ha ayudado a desenredar de todos modos. Te recomiendo que te laves el cabello, lo desenredes y luego continuar con Ovation para maximizar los productos y los resultados .

Me di cuenta que la cantidad de caída de cabello durante el desenredado era como 50% menos después de la segunda vez usando Ovation, yo estaba sorprendida y feliz de ver esto.
