I like this shampoo, I liked it at the beginning of my journey and I like it now.. The smell is really good, Foam when your hair is clean,  my scalp feels super clean after using it, maybe because of the hint of peppermint on it.

Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner (8oz)

Deionized Water, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Extracts of: Green Tea, Sage, Rosemary, Basil, Mullein, Licorice, Thyme, and Vanilla, Certified Organic: Sunflower Oil, Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Lavender Oil, Lemon Oil, Wheat Protein, Wheat Amino Acids, Tocopherol, Lecithin, Panthenol, Caprylic Acid, Glycine, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid.
I don’t think there is a word to describe how much I LOVE this conditioner, I love everything about it: the consistency, the smell, the way it helped detangled my hair, the way my hair feels after using it..This is truly a 5star product…I even leave it on my hair one time because I didn’t have the time to rinse it out and my curls where defined, soft and shinny ( I don’t really know if you can do that, but I did, lol).

If you are looking for a light product, look no more!! I think this is a great product to mist your hair in the morning and second day. I used it as a leave-in but honestly it did nothing to my hair, specially because I had to use another styling product with it, but if you are one of those curly, kinky hair that likes to use a leave-in and then a style product or gel, this is it!!! Since this product smells so good, brings my curls back to life in the morning and I want it to last longer I just it mix with water to mist my hair and my princesses.
Curl Defining Cream (6oz)
Price: 18.00
What’s in it:
Purified Water, Extracts of Anthemis Noblis Flower (Camomile), Symphytum Officinal Leaf (Comfrey), Equisetum Arvense (Horsetail), Urtica Dioica (Nettle), Rosemarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf, Humulus Lupulus (Hops),of Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba), Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Natural Vitamin E, Glycerin, Propanediol, Poly-quaternium-100, Citric Acid , Polyquaternium-47, Ceteareth 20 , Phen-oxyethanol, Caprylyl, Glycol, Sorbic acid, Fragrance.
As all Jane Carter products that I have tried this one is no exception on how good the smell is. I wanted to like this product a lot and I did but, Not my hair 🙁 why? because it did what it says Define my curls a little to much and leave that crunchy feeling and dryness that Gel does. If you like well defined curl pattern, if you like gels I think this is the product for you. I believe it will go super well on twist and braid outs.. if you have used it, please share your Technic with me to try.
Nourish & Shine (4oz)

This is a great product that you can use both in your hair and in your skin..the smell again is Amazing…Need to control your edges? this is the product for you.

  1. Hi Daily Curlz,

First off I wanted to say thank you so much for the product review!! We are glad you liked most of the products but, I wanted to address your concern about our Curl Defining Cream. Sometimes when Curl Defining Cream dries crunchy it simply means that you may have used too much product. I strongly encourage you try it again, sometimes it requires a little trial and error. Feel free to add a little water to dilute the product a little. We designed the product to give you soft touchable curls, we’re sorry that the product didn’t preform as expected. I am attaching a link with some more instructions about how to use the product. Once it dries you can feel free to break up your curls a little with your fingers.

    Thanks again, enjoy!!

  2. ohhh, Thanks I will definitely try the product again with your recommendations….

  3. I also just tried this Curl Defining Cream this week on a whim…I think I got it at Wal-mart for like 3 something. It does do better with braid outs than as a wash and go, for me. I will continue trying it until I get the right technique for my hair because as we know, everybody’s hair is different.

    1. I think you may talking about another curl defining cream because Jane Carter is not available at Walmart and definitely not at $3

  4. Yes, it is the Jane Carter Curl Defining Cream in the 6 oz jar. It was from Target, not Walmart, sorry. I got it for 3.74. Honestly, that’s the only reason I bought it….the price. I already have so many other products. I tried to upload a pic. of the receipt but I couldn’t. I will try via Facebook.
