A Poetic tribute to curly hair|Libro de poemas para el cabello rizado

My little one asked me a while go : Mami, who do you love the most, me or your curls? I was laughing like crazy, Liah can be quite funny most of the time. Her explanation for such a question was that I am taking care and admiring my curls all the time. Yes, I do love my curls Liah -I said- but I love you even more.

Women and girls with curly hair tend to feel less confident, and my way to show my daughters to love themselves the way they are is by loving me the way I am. That is the reason why I love so much the Dove Hair campaign that wants all women and girls to love their curls.

Mi pequeña Liah me preguntó días atrás: Mami, a quien amas mas? a tus rizos o a mi? Esto me causo mucha gracia, y es que mi Liah suele ser muy chistosa la mayor parte del tiempo. Su explicación a tan particular pregunta fue que como me cuido y admiro tanto mis rizos ella aveces piensa que yo los amo. Sí, amo mis rizos Liah -Le dije- pero te amo a ti aún más.

Las mujeres y las niñas con el cabello rizado tienden a sentirse menos seguras, y mi manera de mostrar a mis hijas amarse a sí mismas tal y como son es amándome a mi tal y como soy. Esa es la razón por la que me gusta tanto la campaña de Dove Hair que quiere que todas las mujeres y las niñas amen sus rizos.

Dove Hair esta comprometido a crear un mundo donde la belleza sea una fuente de confianza y no de ansiedad, y cree que todas las mujeres pueden dar un ejemplo positivo para la próxima generación mediante la expresión de su propia belleza con confianza.
