DIY pearl hairpins / Accesorios de perlas para el cabello
Shopping around last week, I noticed that the pearls are a huge trend in accessories like earrings and bracelets, so I got inspired to make myself some cute DIY pearl hairpins to “decorate” my beautiful curls. This diy pearl hairpins couldn’t be more easier and affordable chicas. I went to a craft store and bought a bead banding (wire thread) in 21.9 m and a few pearls. The bead banding is 24 yd so it is enough to make a few other crafts or hairpins for the whole neighborhood, lol . I didn’t buy very expensive pearls, I actually got the cheapest ones, but if you are doing this diy pearl hairpins for wearing it a very special occasion, I recommend you buy yourself better quality pearls. This is what you will need:
Bead landing in 21.9 m (wire thread)
Pearls of your choice
Bobby Pins
Pliers (optional but highly recommended)
1. Cut 11 inches of wire thread and twist onto a bobby pin end.
2. Place the thread through the pearl.
3. Wrap the thread a few times around the bobby pin.
4. Flatten the ends of the wire with the tip of the pliers until you don’t feel any loose ends.
You are done!! Now have fun, create your own styles and be fabulous!
