Amazing finds “Hello summer feet” |No mas pies agrietados

Winter is rough with my skin, but the part of my body that suffers the most is definitely my feet. Dry, cracked heels are not only unpleasant to see but they can be embarrassing and sometimes painful. When the skin around the heels gets really dry, it loses elasticity and moisture and can split (crack) with the simple act of walking.  In years past, my heel got so dry that it became painful and sometimes even bled. If you spend long periods of time standing, you are pregnant, or are overweight these symptoms could be worse. Walking around my local marshall’s store I saw a product that really called my attention and made me scream “Hello Summer Feet”- Pedi Patrol Repairing Foot Mask / SPA Sock $3.99 and I have to tell you, that this product is absolutely amazing and  solves all  my cracked heels problem.

How does it work? you cut it open and insert your feet , do not cut all the way through the line so the plastic socks stay in place or use a sock over it to avoid the mask from moving. I wear size 8 and the foot mask had some more room for people with larger shoe sizes as well, so it is good for different shoe sizes. Put them on for about 1-2 hours, then rinse off, and lather on lotion. The box recommends soaking your feet in hot water for the next couple of days to help the peeling process. I did not have time to soak them, but still got results the following days in which the rougher areas of my feet started peeling off to reveal new skin. But please keep in mind that my case was not extreme. Soaking feet in hot water for the following days would probably help the process and increase the results.

For best results, apply your favorite foot moisturizer nightly 1-2 days before using foot masks. El invierno es duro con mi piel, pero la parte de mi cuerpo que más sufren son definitivamente mis pies. Los talones agrietados y  secos no sólo son desagradables a la vista, pero ademas pueden ser embarazosos y a veces doloroso. Cuando la piel alrededor de los talones se pone muy seca, pierde elasticidad y humedad y se comienzan a dividir (agrietar) con el simple acto de caminar. En años pasados mis talones se han puestos tan secos que me duelen e incluso aveces sangraban. Si pasas mucho tiempo de pie, estas embarazada o tienes sobre peso estos síntomas pueden ser mas fuertes. Hace unas semanas caminado por mi tienda Marshall’s local, vi unos productos que me llamaron la atención y solo pensé ” pies bellos este verano”- Pedi Patrol Repairing Foot Mask / SPA Sock por $3.99 y tengo que decir, que este producto es absolutamente increíble y ha resuelto todos mis problemas de pies agrietados.

Como funciona? Son unas medias/calcetines de plástico, cortas por toda la linea que marca el producto, yo solo corto una pequeña parte para que los calcetines de plástico permanezca en su sitio o también puedes usar unos calcetines sobre el producto para que puedas moverte fácilmente con ellos puesto. Yo soy talla 8 y todavía le queda un buen espacio a las mascarillas, y eso me da a pensar que es bueno para diferentes tallas de pies. Hay que usarlos de 1-2 horas, luego enjuagar, y lavar. El producto recomienda remojar los pies en agua caliente durante los próximos días para ayudar el proceso de remoción. Yo me he saltado este paso, y aun así los resultados han sido muy buenos. Si tus talones están muy agrietados o con callos, es posible que si remojas tus talones el resultado sera mejor. Para obtener mejores resultados, aplica crema hidratante de pie 1-2 días antes de usar la mascarilla de pie.  Estoy utilizando Samba 2-Step Foot Fetish Care, una crema  formulada con manteca de cupuaçu, una mantequilla espesa y nutritiva tomado del fruto del árbol cupuaçu tropical, la cual mezclado con aceite de coco suaviza la piel.
