Don’t be fooled by the product’s label / No te dejes engañar por las etiquetas de los productos

I was having a nice conversation with a friend, when she pulled me over to show me the great deals she has found at a store, She showed me an “Argan Oil” bottle that she got at a great price. My friend told me that she wanted to buy Argan oil for so long, but she put it on hold; until now.

I grabbed the bootle in my hands and started to read the label: in the front it said : ARGAN OIL in big bold letters, and in the back it was a totally different story. Company products know that everybody is crazy about Argan Oil (Not me, there are more affordable and amazing oils to use on my hair and body) so they label as such. But have you read the back? On this particular product,  (photo bellow) Argan oil it is not the main ingredient and it contains fragrance and more additives. Bottom line here is… READ the back of your beauty products, you will be surprised of what you can find.

 

If you want to buy any oil, make sure the only ingredient listed on it is the oil 100% Oil

Yo estaba teniendo una agradable conversación con una amiga, que me dijo que fuéramos a su habitación para mostrarme la gran oferta que encontró, ella me mostró una botella de “aceite de argan” que compro a un gran precio, mas o menos a un 60 % de descuento. Mi amiga me dijo que quería comprar aceite de argan desde hacia tiempo, pero por varias razones lo había pensando  mucho, hasta ahora.

Tomò el envase de aceite en mis manos y comencé a leer la etiqueta: en la parte delantera decía: ARGAN OIL en grandes letras, en la parte trasera era una historia totalmente diferente. Las  empresas de productos de belleza saben que todo el mundo esta loco por la fiebre de este aceite que algunos llaman “Oro Liquido” (Yo no, hay aceites más asequibles y mejores para mi cabello y mi piel) por lo que mercadean sus productos como tal. Pero has leído la parte de atrás? en este producto en particular (foto arriba) el aceite de argan no es único ingrediente, ni esta dentro de los primeros, ademas de contener fragancias y otros aditivos.  El punto aquí es … Lee al dorso de los productos de belleza, te sorprenderás de lo que puedes encontrar.

Si vas a compra cualquier aceite, asegurare de que sea 100% aceite y nada mas.
