Hot spot to Ring in the New Year / Donde esperar el Año Nuevo
New Years is almost here, it’s the time to reconnect and have new goals, so where to spend New Years Eve is very important. It’s a funny thing how your priority changes by the years. When I was single with no kids, it was all about the party and waiting for the sunrise by the beach. Later on as a mom, it’s all about being with my daughters; there is no place I want to be on New Years Eve but with them. For this reason, I don’t usually go out, I want a safe environment for them, and that safe environment is home (because I didn’t know any better). This year I learned about this hot spot to ring in the New Year, called Knott’s Berry Farm. 
It’s not that I didn’t know that Knott’s Berry Farm existed, lol, I do, but I didn’t know that Knott’s is the place to ring in 2015 with a night full of special family-friendly experiences including live musical acts, exclusive stage shows, and Merry Farm entertainment, culminating in a fantastic fireworks show.
As the final moments of 2014 count down, the Knott’s Sky Cabin will dramatically rise over 200 ft. to the top of the “K” tower as special lighting effects countdown to midnight. When the cabin reaches the top at the stroke of midnight the “K” tower, the skies above Knott’s will light up with a spectacular fireworks show! Now this is cool and my daughters are more excited about New Year’s Eve than Christmas.
Knott’s is open from 10:00 am – 1:00 am and the New Year’s Eve Celebration is included with regular daytime admission. There’s live entertainment everywhere you turn at Knott’s on New Year’s Eve and I am planning to take advantage of all of them. Another thing I like about my new hot spot for New Year’s Eve is that I will be wearing a comfy chic outfit to stay warm and cozy, and here I show you my outfit inspiration (not our tractional New Year’s Eve outfit, right?). The yellow underwear? Just for good luck 🙂

El Año Nuevo ya esta casi aquí chicas, y este es el momento ideal para conectarnos, recargar pilas y trazarnos nuevas metas, así que donde pasar la víspera de año nuevo es muy importante. Me causa risa el pensar como van cambiando las prioridades y gustos con la edad, el tiempo y las responsabilidades. Cuando yo era soltera y sin hijos, todo era el pensar en la fiesta y el esperar la llegada del nuevo año en la playa. Ahora como madre, es mas bien el pasarla con mis hijas; no hay un solo lugar del mundo en cual yo quisiera esperar el año nuevo que con mi chiquillas hermosas. Por eso elijo siempre un entorno seguro para ellas, que mayormente es la casa (porque no sabia de otro lugar). Este año he encontrado el lugar perfecto para esperar el año nuevo, y se llama Knott’s Berry Farm.
No es que no conocía a Knott’s, claro que si, es mas bien que no sabia que Knott’s es el lugar ideal para esperar las doce campanadas del 2015 con una noche llena de experiencias para toda la familia que incluye música en vivo, shows exclusivos, entretenimiento para grandes y chicos que culmina en un fantástico espectáculo de fuegos artificiales. Mis hijas están mas emocionadas por el día de año nuevo que por navidad, y no las culpo.
Knott’s estará abierto desde las 10 a.m.-1 a.m. y celebración de la víspera de Año Nuevo está incluido con la entrada del día regular. Habra entretenimiento en vivo en cada rincón del parque y yo pretendo el disfrutarlas todas. Otra cosa de esperar el año nuevo en Knott’s es que no tengo que ponerme toda fancy, este año sera pura comodidad, pero bien abrigada para el frío. En la foto de arriba les dejo mi inspiración para el atuendo y si se preguntan por los interiores (pantis, calzones, chones) amarillos, bueno, les dire que es para la buena suerte y llamar el dinero jejjejjeje
