Listening to a radio station a couple of days ago where they were talking about tangerines, I was amazes about its benefits for a healthy living, great skin, and of course, hair. Here are 3 ways to use tangerine for healthy hair and why you should include it in your routine..
Tangerine is great for your hair because it is loaded with vitamin C that helps to build collagen which is crucial for hair growth. Vitamin C helps in the absortion of Iron which is also good for healthy hair, helping your body absorb it. Tangerine oil is known for its anti-fungal and antiseptic properties that helps treat dandruff, dry scalp, and other hair infections.
Tangerine is a good source of Vitamin B12 that reduces hair loss, promotes hair growth, and slows down the graying process.
3 ways to use Tangerine for healthy hair.
- Juice: One of the easier ways to include tangerines in your hair routine is by drinking it obviously, but in this post I will present you a topic treatment. Just squeeze a tangerine to a healthy and loaded vitamin C juice. Apply it on dry hair before you wash it, but make sure to add a tea spoon of your favorite oil, so the juice sticks onto your hair. After 30 minutes, rinse, wash, and style as usual.
- Herbal tea. This is a another way to use tangerine for healthy hair. You will make the tea with the tangerine dry peel. You can do this two ways: Peel the tangerine, cut it in small pieces and let it dry for a couple of days. If you don’t want to do this, buy a tangerine peel tea. I got mine at Amazon, but in any ancient store you’ll find it easily. Apply it on dry or wet hair, rinse out, and style as usual.
- Tangerine oil. This oil is very precious, the reason why you will see it in a lot of beauty products. You can use tangerine oil as you use any other oil and/or to mix it with other oils. If you have dandruff, dry itchy scalp, or an infection, this oil will help you a lot for its anti-fungal and antiseptic properties.
